A Romantic Engagement Session at Chateau Nouvelle
Chateau Nouvelle offers one of the most distinctive settings for engagement photography and video in the Houston area. Its French-inspired architecture, elegant grounds and castle-like details create beautiful backdrops throughout the property.
We recently photographed and filmed Tyra and Chris during their engagement session at Chateau Nouvelle. Their session gave us the opportunity to explore several areas around the venue and create both timeless engagement portraits and a cinematic engagement video.
We have not photographed their wedding yet, but after seeing how beautifully the venue worked for their engagement session, we are looking forward to returning and documenting their wedding day.
Chateau Nouvelle Engagement Video
This engagement film follows Tyra and Chris throughout Chateau Nouvelle and brings their session to life through movement. Along with posed moments, the video captures the natural interactions between them and gives couples a closer look at how the venue appears on camera.
The architecture and landscaping provide plenty of variety without needing to leave the property. Couples can create elegant, romantic and cinematic imagery all within one venue.

In addition to filming their engagement session, we photographed Tyra and Chris throughout Chateau Nouvelle. This collection highlights several of the beautiful portrait locations available around the venue.
From wider portraits that showcase the architecture to closer and more personal moments between the couple, the property offers a great deal of variety. Nearly every area provides another backdrop that could be used for engagement portraits, wedding-party photos or portraits of the couple on their wedding day.
Why Chateau Nouvelle Photographs So Well
Chateau Nouvelle is a French-inspired estate located in northwest Houston near the Cypress area. The venue features dramatic architecture, landscaped outdoor spaces and several unique locations throughout the property.
